Opting out of credit protection

I just got approved for a card but I dont want the protection program.. I never opted in for it.. obviously it was chosen for me. But since I dont have a card number yet I cant do anything about it User’s recommendation: Make sure if you don’t want the protection program that it’s not automatically checked.
