Recall discrepancy

I purchased a Lennox 4 ton unit (new) in 2016. This year the unit experienced a failure in one of the capillary tubes due to a manufacturer defect. Equipment is only four years old and has major items to go wrong

I have not heard from Lennox but the A/C company who sold me the Lennox system but who no longer carries the Lennox line came out and fixed so far the problem. Of course they will be reimbursed by the warranty on my system that we paid for 4 years ago.

Horrible customer service and Lennox not honoring their warranty

Update by user Aug 09, 2021 Lennox is refusing to help resolve the situation. The only resolution they have offered is to just continue to wait for a part that is on “backorder” with no time frame as to when the part will be available. I am still waiting to be contacted by a supervisor or manager…

Standard answer, call HVAC technician

Base plate on IComfort thermostat broke. Called and their standard answer is to call for service. Its a simple part and easy to replace.
