Don't sell a ticket

Every day I take bus 2, I pay money. But on May 12, the driver issues me an old ticket to another route, I ask to change, but he says something bubbling "the machine does not work..." and not afraid. Can he make money very well?! And if there will be a check, then the fine I will pay not for KO.
