RUN DONT WALK AWAY!!! They lie, they are laxed in all aspects of getting you to close. John Elway should remove himself from being a spikes person!!! They say they can close finally but not until further off cause oops all notaries are busy. I WILL never recommend them at all!!!
Everything went through fine. Scheduled closing for this evening, nobody showed. Spoke to loan person (Tracy) didn’t know what was going on, then came back on the phone to say my insurance company of almost 3 decades didn’t give them some kind of BS insurance replacement certificate. WTF?
The appraiser showed up took multiple pictures then proceeded to take comps for our property from a subdivision across the road. We have a 4200 sq ft house on9.5 acres. His comps were 150,000 less than what the county appraiser had completed. BE AWARE. No one at American could care less.
Unprofessional Slow if any communication Customer service doesn’t exist Beware !!!
I wrote another review not even realizing that the situation with this company would only get worse. It’s the one where the mortgage lender has a personal relationship with the seller’s agent who is selling the rental property her Mom owned, for her Mom, in order to pay off medical bills. The property has numerous unaddressed problems....
