My experience with LoanDepot is thoroughly disappointing. I turned to LoanDepot for a VA loan and had to wait for several days to get a response that my credit score was too low. It looks like LoanDepot knew that I would not qualify but just wasted my time. In any case, they might have offered me an FHA loan as an alternative, but they didn’t.
Then, LoanDepot sent me new documents with a bunch of mistakes in my income and billing data. I responded to them without a delay and pointed to mistakes. They called back three days later and it turned out that their manager did not even review my corrections.
In fact, I cannot say anything positive about this company. Their service needs improvement. Sorry, but I am thoroughly dissatisfied with LoanDepot.
