I have an old LG Tracfone which I like because it's same and easy to carry. It's been obsoleted, but I only use my phone for texting, contacts, notes, some pics, and 911. About a year ago I accedentially touched an update and Google came in and over wrote all my apps taking away the navigational app I used. I DO NOT LIKE GOOGLE, so I removed what I could of their apps. Recently, there have been issues with my phone wanting to automatically shut off when I'm using it. Yesterday 9/13/21 it rebooted came back with NEW GOOGLE updates and in the process REMOVED EVERYTHING OFF MY PHONE!!! I'M EXTREMELY UPSET...pictures of when I first moved into my home when it snowed and hasn't since. Pictures of a 2 pronged stag sunning on my front lawn. etc... All my doctors apts., and calendar, all my notes tracking health conditions, medication, food etc. All my texts for homecare providers etc... All my phone numbers and contact information... I called Tracfone and they told me their updates would not have removed any of my information, nor would they do it automatically. I am seriously considering calling a lawyer to see if I can sue Google for destruction of personal property.
