Incorrect charge with no refund

Please do yourself a favor and use Fios if you can. Optimum is the absolute worst customer service you will ever face in your life. I did not have internet for 3 days and after being told it was routine work, then being forced to drive 30 minutes each way to get a new modem both of which weren't the issue, I was told a technician needed to come over. I said I did not want to pay for a service call and was told "of course you won't be charged it is not your fault". The service man came over and was unable to fix the issue and because he couldn't figure it out, I was charged $80. After 3 hours of phone calls I was told by Prascilla in the esclation department (badge RPP)that Optimum does not care if their employees lie/do not know the correct policies and the word of their employees does not mean anything if it goes against their firm policy to charge the client. Thier policy is to charge you if they cannot figure out the issue and 100% know it is their fault. If employees make a mistake, the client must pay for it, not their firm. This place is run by snakes. I will likely be canceling as many services as I can all because they value my $80 more than my customer loyalty. User's recommendation: Avoid at all costs if possible.
