Cracked pealing ‘leather’ only 3 years old; lazyboy declines my appeal for a $3,000 recliner couch
A year ago I complained to Lazyboy. Time went by and the end result from checking with higher ups they would repair a section for nearly $300. I told them that I've a leather chair that is still supple way older and I bought it from them. One excuse they gave me after another of course pinpointing if I condition and clean with their product on a regular basis which I said I do. I did not opt to have them repair, and so I sit with this good mechanism couch peeling away. I've reached out to see about reupholster and these experienced people said it wouldn't be worth it. Somewhere in Lazyboy history they turned to inferior coverings but don't tell the customer about the material not being the quality leather they might think or bought from them in the past. User's recommendation: If you intend on throwing out the couch in two years ok to buy.
