Update by user Jul 03, 2021 I called cvs covid hotline and they confirmed its recommended you stay for 15 minutes in case of side effects, but they cannot require you to stay. Original review posted by user Jul 03, 2021 I went to get the covid vaccine and after getting it the pharmacist said I MUST stay in the store for 15 minutes. I explained I was an ex healthcare provider and in a hurry and it's recommended to stay for 15 minutes for side effects, etc. He insisted I had to stay and could not leave. Unlawful Detaining of a person is against the law. I ended up walking out anyways. Very unprofessional and illegal. User's recommendation: G
