Verilux Is Angry About Backordered Items

I ordered one "natural spectrum" light bulb from Verilux on 12/31/11. I waited 3 weeks for my order and never got an order update, so I called their main customer service line. The CSR explained that those bulbs were backordered and would be shipping the following week. I said" no problem, I'll wait". I wait another two weeks and don't hear anything, so I use the customer service e-mail feature on their website to inquire about it. "We'll get back with you in 2 business days", it states above the form. Yeah, right! I never heard back, so I wait a week, then send another e-mail via the site requesting that the order be cancelled. I never hear back. I called today (Feb. 16th) to cancel the order and the CSR was rude to me! She was very abrupt, never acknowledged how long I'd been waiting for my order, asked why I wanted a refund or tried to make it right. I was in the middle of asking a quick question about getting an e-mail confirmation and she hung up on me! CSR "CATHERINE" HUNG UP ON ME. I called back and the CSR "Katie" spoke to me as if it were my fault that they never communicated with me about my allegedly backordered order. I've purchased from this company before with no problems, but I am never buying anything from them again.
