Quality of products extremely inferior over older models

I originally loved their desktop lamp bc I have an older model that have given me 10 yrs of trouble-free service. I ordered one “natural spectrum” light bulb from Verilux on 12/31/11. I waited 3 weeks for my order and never got an order update, so I called their main customer service line.
