We went to shelter due to hurricane today. The storm passed but we were told to stay until tomorrow due to tornado watch and warnings. So we stayed. Myself and husband that just had colorectal surgery. 4 children 10 month old 7 year old sleeping 11 year old an 16 year old. At 9:30pm in the pitch black dark and rain . They told us here in mayo,florida 32066 the shelter was closing we must leave. So of course we left. Pretty dirty of them. If they wanted us to leave they shouldn't have told us to stay earlier in the day.
