Worst travel experiance

my husband and I planed our 40th anniversary with apple to an all inclusive to punta cana we planned this for a year get to the airport at 4:00am we stayed in a hotel the nite before because of the early flight waited 3 hours for the apples travel to show up to be told we notified you the day before by email of the delay looked at our emails they emailed us at 12:30 am found out people from secrets were notified at 5:30pm the previous day we were told pilots had to sleep 4 hours later told there was engine trouble waited 15 hours told to come back the next day at 4:00 am called our apple travel agent told by her sorry its out of my job description youll have to notify cheap caribbean got back to the airport at 4:00am waited 2 hours for the apple reps to show up told there was still engine trouble didn't know when or if we would get a flight needed to just leave and cancel for a full refund no one really acted like this was a big deal really nothing said had to wait for over 3 weeks for our refund yes we were given 200.00 cash but im so disgusted by how we were treated thru this really disappointing experience I will never never ever book thru apple again just really didn't like how we were all treated what we did get we had to argue beg and plead for any compensation you would of thought they would of jumped thru hoops to make a paying customer happy but that was not the case we had to argue for almost 3 weeks being put thru to several people before anything happened it was like we did something wrong with no regards to our terrible disappointment
