My spouse was at that place 5 times. The last time he died. His drain was taken out even though it was still draining. We were told if pain or fever happens to go to hospital immediately. That was the third visit threw. Strangely enough as he complained repeatedly they just gave him antacids. Then sent him home 4 days later. The day after Christmas he collapsed. He was septic from the collection of leakage from his major surgery. No one listens to the family. On the last trip he was also having breathing problems and was admitted to a regular room. After having a fever for 4 days his nurse for that day said he went to his room and he was gasping for air and rushed to icu. I had gone to his room and the room was cleaned and my husband was gone, I freaked out and ran to icu to find him on a respirator. He could not speak and I was told that he was very very sick. If only the covering surgeon had done something to the leakage on the visit prior to this one my husband would be alive today. I hope the surgeon who took out the drain and the covering surgeon can life with what happen. After being together 36 years and to have 1 nurse and 2 surgeons not do their job correctly I am left alone without my wonderful man. Shame shame shame you Lousy hospital.
