I saw Randolph Toup in Shreveport Louisiana in 2017 for an eye exam. When I called for an appointment a week later I was told he had retired and I could see Vivian Fountaine for concerns I had with contact lens prescribed at my appointment with Dr. Toup. I found this to be unprofessional and unethical. Dr. Toup made no mention that he would not be available if I had any problems with my prescription, which is fairly common when getting new contacts. I did go to see Vivian Fountaine. She is very scattered, unprofessional, rude, and from the best I could gather, abusive to the employees in that Target. I was going to report both providers at this location to the State Board of Medical Advisors but since I had just moved to this area and was busy with trying to settle in, I opted instead to see a real eye doctor and lose the money spent on this lousy operation. I did call Target headquarters and learned that Target Optical is in no way accountable to them which I found strange. With that said, I caution anyone thinking of using one of these eye centers. My experience was far from favorable and I will never again waste my time and money in especially the Shreveport, Louisiana location. Vivian Fountaine is a train wreck. Shame on Randolph Toup for enabling such a horrible person.
