I booked a minivan at the end of October to take my family (5 people) to a memorial service 4 hours away. On the morning the car was to be returned, I checked the app and saw to my horror that the reservation had been cancelled. When I contacted the owner, he told me that the car had been in an accident and had not yet been repaired. He said that Turo should have contacted me and arranged alternative transport. No one bothered to inform me of this! I am now trying to find another vehicle big enough to transport everyone an hour after we were due to leave and at two or three times the price. I will never use this company again *** nor recommend it to anyone else!
