I was harassed and pressured to sit for a presentation at Chic Punta Cana. After saying NO for several days, I finally agreed when the representative began crying telling me she would be fired. I went for the presentation and thankfully, I did NOT buy anything. I was presented with a certificate for a free 4 night stay at one of 5 resorts. When I tried to redeem the certificate, they responded with a $1,500 quote for the stay. It's a total waste of time. Travelers, if you are approached by anyone from Travelsmart, alert hotel security immediately! They are criminal in their behavior and hiding behind international jurisdictions. Whatever you do, don't waste your precious vacation time speaking to them!
