Your vehicle has been tested and found safe to drive. Thank you for your kind consideration in this matter. Sincerely,________________________OmkarSenior Customer Care SpecialistNissan Canada, Inc. Original review posted by user Aug 31, 2020 My Nissan Qashqai nearly killed me and my family. I got my first Car Nissan Qashqai on April 13 2020 and was super happy with it unless the horrifying incident happened, where the Car did self Acceleration and all brakes were failed. The Car was uncontrollable with my family in it. This Incident happened on August 16th evening and I can still feel my kids screaming as had no clue how to take back the control. Luckily there was nobody on the other side of the lane as it was going with a speed of 60-70 Km for almost 300 meters otherwise life would have been lost. It's been almost 2 weeks now and no solution has been provided to me neither from Nissan Canada nor from Dealership because they couldn't get the issue duplicated, hence no fault found by their Technical Team and Car has been found Safe to drive. Looks like Nissan Canada doesn't care about people safety and only focus on making money. My family including me are still in shock and trying to come out of this incident every day. I have told Nissan Canada multiple times that we don't have anymore trust in that Car and they Should do the replacement. However nobody seems to be listening in their Organization and finally I have to use the social Media platform... User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY NISSAN.
