It is unfortunate that I am taking time to report this but this has just been a nightmare. I purchased a sofa and ottoman on September 21, 2020 knowing the items were out of stock until 10/19 for sofa and 12-13 for ottoman. This is what took place and is still ongoing. [protected] Looked on the site and sofa was listed as "available" by 10-5-20. Called representative to change date. 10-12-20 Received call to schedule delivery of Sofa. 10-21-20 Sofa delivered 11-18-20 Received email-delay on ottoman until 12-28-20 12-22-20 Receive email-delay on ottoman until 1/7-21 1/20/21 Ottoman delivered but its the wrong ottoman. Same color and fabric but different dimensions and removable top cushions were vertical instead of horizontal. I spoke to the rep and the rep informed me that they don't even make that in those dimensions so this was definitely a defective piece of furniture that they just sent out anyway! She ordered another ottoman but said it won't be available until March 6th. I'm currently waiting for an email that will tell me that it will be pushed back again per usual. While furniture was being delivered, the delivery person pointed out to me that the center peg on my sofa was not touching the floor and it was supposed to be for support. I mentioned this to the rep and she forwarded me to a Macys contracted service dept. They were not able to give me a date to come out and said they would call me back when they found out a date when the serviceman was "in my area". 1-25-21 Received call for service visit and scheduled for 2-19-21 2-19-21 Received call because they had to cancel service appointment and would call to schedule another appointment when "in my area". 2-23-21 Called to schedule service appointment but rep told me they couldn't because manager wasn't there and they didn't know schedule but she would call me back as soon as she found out. Meanwhile I have an ottoman that is defective and not what I ordered and a sofa that isn't crafted in a way that it is not supported the way it is supposed to be supported and the back left side pops in and out as if the back board has come unglued or unfastened in some type of way. But my money is paid IN FULL! This whole experience has been frustrating and I expected so much more from Macy's. I did it once but I will never buy furniture from Macy's again and I wouldn't advise others to. A very dissatisfied customer.
