Self cleaning oven

we tried to clean our oven and there is no way that we are able to remove the mess that we have in the oven. we put it at 350 just as you recommended but it doesn't clean. If we have knowned that it is not doing its job as you advertise. w thought that Kitchen aid was better than Jennair but we should have stayed with Jennair.
