Poor Customer Service/Workmanship

1

We signed the contract in July 2020, and one of the workers pooped in our daughter's bathtub. We demanded it be completely changed and with time, they did prior to closing. Prior to closing, during our walkthrough, the dishwasher was all chipped on the inside to which they replaced it with a new one. Upon replacing, they chipped off a piece of the quartz countertop. They corrected it NOT replaced it. (putty). The oven handle bar had to be replaced due to a scratch throughout the length of the handle. They cracked the frame of the sliding door, it was replaced, but it is not aligned and is very difficult to open and the rainwater with bugs pools in the track of the sliding door and into the house. We moved in Aug 27. It was the day of my birthday when I was about to eat dinner with my daughter and put some clothes to wash. My daughter was yelling frantically that the washer water was overflowing into her room and the hallway. We opened a case with the 24 hr hotline as the water poured out full force through the fire alarms, walls, ceiling, etc. Someone came the next morning to dry the carpets and walls. I asked them to replace the carpet/padding, they refused. September 1- we call the 24 hour hotline and open another case. Around 10 pm we went downstairs to the kitchen and almost fell when we noticed the entire 1st floor was flooded with sewage. *** water, hairy particles all throughout the 1st floor. We cleaned it, and the toilet began doing the flooding again. We cleaned and again it happened up until about 3 am which was my last call to the 24 hr hotline since they never got back to me about complaint # 2. They showed up the next morning (today 9/1) to run a line through the pipes and declog all of the "construction debris." That brings me to today. Around 7 pm, I got home and grabbed a waterbottle, the fridge light would not turn on. The indicatior lights of the freezer portion would not turn on either and the freezer portion began to melt ice into the floor. I opened another case and although supossedly on call, no one could come to fix things. They said unless I had a receipt, I could not be compensated. The first time around, the water seeped into my daughters mattress, Comcast Modem, shoes, boxes with belongings, etc. The second time around, the sewage, went into the sofa, walls, under fridge, oven, etc. our boxes, hair dryer, vacuum, shoes, etc. This third time around, our $200+ of groceries almost got damaged, had it not been that I was able to run to a neighbor's house to store my perishables. I've asked for some sort of credit or compensation and no one is willing to help. BIGGEST MISTAKE Purchasing from Lennar User's recommendation: Steer clear.
