No gluten-free substitute offered to self-isolating coeliac
My husband is clinically vulnerable so we continue to shield and therefore rely on home deliveries. We live in a remote rural area. My husband is coeliac, meaning he cannot tolerate gluten at all and is very ill if his food has traces of it. I bought a Midweek Pass and every week I try to order free from gluten bread. It never arrives. There is never a substitute offered. I don't receive any warning until day if delivery. As a result, I have to order home delivery from Tesco or Sainsburys who never let me down by always offering a substitute. It's not a matter of taste, its a matter of clinical necessity. I'll be cancelling my Midweek Pass.
