Update by user Jul 22, 2018 I reached out to the Miele product center in Wellesley, MA. I explained my frustration and the gentleman I connected with shared my concern. It took a while, but he pushed through a refund for the replacement part + the installation cost. All is well. Original review posted by user Mar 23, 2018 We bought a new Miele dishwasher for our weekend home 18 months ago, so we used it lightly just on weekends. It stopped working a month ago - the service tech told us it needs a new motherboard electronics unit - $600! Of course, your warranty only runs for 12 months.
