Sent in my reimbursement forms via Internet on December 6th. It was accepted within minutes. After several weeks of checking and it was still saying processing, I called Mecer and was told that you do not make deposits on any weeks that there is a bank hoilday. After talking to someone who tried to convince me that banks are closed all through hoildays. I told them that I was not an idiot. They are closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day only. Requested to speak to supervisor and was told that they would return my call. And they did next morning. This woman tells me that it might be an IRS law that you couldn't make a deposit on the weeks that there is a bank holiday. So now I'm not getting my December reimbursement until January 11th. But another insurance preumium of 930.00 will come out of my checking on January 5th. I'm supposed to get an reimbursement of 630.00 so I'm going to be out 1860.00 dollars before I get any money reimburse. This has placed an hardship on my husband and I. This company is not good. Your employees lie to the consumer, and keeps money that is not theirs to keep. I will be pursuing this problem with BBB, insurance commissioner, and anyone else I can get involved into looking into this to see if this is legal. As soon as our money is exhausted I will never have anything else to do with this company and will make it my mission to tell anyone by any means your treatment of people.
