Wasted $5,000 on one of these! My wife refuses to use it. Ours has a design flaw that probably could be corrected and is not likely common to all Meditek lifts, so I appealed multiple times to the manufacturer for help in resolving the problem. But Meditek in North Carolina says my only option is to deal with their installer – do not call them. The installer is a nice guy but says no adjustment of the device is possible; it needs to be replaced and that is the company’s problem and not his. There is ZERO customer support once they have your money. I would not be mad if they made ANY effort to resolve the problem, but they won't. Ours is going out with the gabage. What a costly mistake!
