My problem started around the 17th of June and to stay close to home I went to an ER close and wasn’t satisfied with the care I received there I was having severe pain in my lower back and I was given a CT scan where they determined that I had kidney stones and sent me home with a few pain pills and I truly thought that I would have passed them in a few days which wasn’t the case and the pain intensified so I decided to go to UAB ER arrived around 2pm on the 21st where I waited until 8 ish with no care trying to tolerate it but I wasn’t being a very nice guy anyway I went to the desk and told them I was hurting and how much longer was i going to have to wait until I saw a dr they took vitals again and said it wasn’t going to be much longer so I waited about 2more hrs and they took me back and left me in a holding room and wanted me to have an ultrasound so they took me upstairs to the radiology department and left me there for about 2 more hrs I kept asking if someone was coming to get me back to the room where they told me they had moved me and that was why it took so long which wasn’t true and when I finally saw a Dr he told me i didn’t have kidney stones gave me 10 more pain pills and sent me home I was totally floored I’ve had stones before and new that this was what I had I didn’t want pain meds I wanted relief but didn’t get it
