Lakeside Auto Sales, INC Huge ripoff

So basically, this car dealership in Michigan sold me to worse lemon ever. First off, my co-signer signed all the paper work without reading it, when I saw it I flipped but it was too late. I bought a 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante with 90,000 miles on it. They said it was $4000, and I put down $1000 and they added on a trade it worth $1000 (is that legal?) and the total price on it was $12000. How in the world does the price triple even if the rate is the max? Well the second day I had it, the transmission broke. On top of that, I had someone look at the rear, and he said this car had to of been in a big rear-end accident to cause all the issues I now have in the back. I have "only" $4000 left to pay it off, and I am fed up with this. I wouldn't go here at all.
