It was a great help to have Life Alert help us.

My 86 year old mother fell out of her electric chair as it became unplugged, and she needed to go to the bathroom. My mom has RA in her hands so bad that they do not open. She slid out of the chair on to her knees and could not catch herself and continued to fall onto the hardwood floor, on her face. I was outside at the time, when I heard her calling for me, I ran inside and saw her on the floor all bruised. I went to pick her up and we both fell. We were both laying on the floor and couldn’t get up. I had fallen hard to my tailbone with her in my lap. It took my breath away, so she pushed the “ Life Alert” button for help. The man spoke with us and asked what happened. He called the paramedics to come. He stayed on the line the entire time and kept asking if we were OK? The paramedics arrived and assessed our situation. They saw no bleeding and no broken bones, so they helped us up and left. My husband got home to help us from there. It was a great help to have “Life Alert” available to help us both. Thank you! - J.M.
