On a Sunday night, I got up from my sofa at 10:30 pm. I lost my balance and fell to the floor, hitting my glass coffee table with the left side of my face and left arm. As a result, I could not get up, and was bleeding around my eye and ear. I also fractured my left wrist. I called a friend to come over and help me up off the floor. After not succeeding, we decided to call Life Alert! The person who responded to my call had a very kind, helpful, positive attitude. Because he was so efficient, it didn’t take long and several people from the ambulance were at my place to help me in a short period of time!! They took me to the ER. The rest is history.
