Excessive noise

I was not offered any reduction in price for the sleepless nights and lack of respect. When notifying front desk of sounds of someone excessively stomping the floor above us, we were told that this was impossible as though we were making this up, they were either lying or the hotel is haunted. Either way we feel we should be refunded no less than 3 nights stay.
