In the past 6 months or so, every vuse Alto will charge and work fine for a short period of time and then suddenly the battery will die and it will not charge. Loads of other people reporting the same thing- some with the alto not working immediately upon buying. Ive gone through 5 new altos in the past 6 months. Id only ever replaced 1 in the 6 months prior. Ive figured out that charging the alto on a high wattage plug somehow revives the device and it can be charged again. But I bought and threw away 4 altos that were probably not actually broken. Cant find any FAQ on their website as to why this happens. Seems to me like they are purposely selling vapes that have a known issue, maybe even an intended issue- with a fix that most would not think to try since its not an issue of the charging block youd used when it stops charging. Conveniently started consistently selling their devices for only 99 cents at gas stations when this all started, and making tons of extra money off the people having to constantly repurchase but doing it anyways bc of the price point.
