Dont trust warranty

Bought a bed from Bel delivered Nov 19th 3 days later the seam ripped open when moving it slightly to change sheets. Called because it was under warranty and they had a tech come out to evaluate. He stated he didn't think they would cover the issue but he would get back with us. Its Dec 31st? I've called and left messages twice without a call back. I don't think that a brand new bed should come apart for using the side handle to maneuver it within 3 days. Faulty product with no backing from Bel.
