I bought two planter boxes on May 12, 2020. Only one arrived on May 27th. I checked the tracking and it noted 1 of 2 shipments delivered. I didnt think much about it at first figured Id get the other one within a couple of days. A couple of weeks went by and still nothing. Tracking said waiting on shipping details. Finally when I checked mid June the tracking showed the order had been canceled. I called Grandin Road and inquired about my other planter. They said they no longer sold that item and would check with the vendor to see if they could send me one. The representative assured me she would call be back within a couple of days. A week later, today, I call and ask again. Im now told Im not getting my other planter. I told them I didnt want the one they sent cause I needed two matching for my space. I asked for them to send me a box and postage to send back. They refused to send me a box. Told me to go buy one for the return. I threw away the original box cause I had no way of knowing I wasnt going to get the other planter. They charged me for two so I expected two to be delivered so why would I keep the box. They will not provide a box for the return. I explained I have underlying health issues and am only going to the supermarket once a month and getting mostly delivery due to Covid-19. They still refused to send me a box for the return but demanded I return for a refund. I stated why should I be inconvenienced by this and expected to make a special trip given this virus. I asked why they couldnt go buy a box and send to me. Their refusal is causing me to pay for something I dont want. User's recommendation: Don’t use this company.
