CREDIT SCORE HELD HOSTAGE BY BILLING DEPT INACCURACIES

Sept 2017. Told to go to ER by PCP, dangerously low Hemoglobin. Required 2 units of blood through transfusion. ER doctor or other hospital employee "Coded" visit to reflect NON EMERGENCY visit. Treatment could have been performed in DR office or urgent care facility, which is not true. BCBS says I am responsible for 50% of balance left after their pay off instead of 10% (a large sum of $). Hospital has recoded 3 times and got it wrong all 3 times. First code was weakness! REALLY!! YES because of blood loss!!! They blame BCBS. BCBS blames hospital. Meanwhile, my bill has been turned over to collection agency. This has been going on since Sept 2017. Dozens of phone calls, emails to BCBS and Atrium as well. This is absolutely insane. Nobody wants to do their job correctly, meanwhile, its the patient who suffers!! Ever heard the saying "High cost of getting well"? It doesn't stop there, your credit damage will go on for years!!!!!!!
