I went to Dr. Barotz only once and was not impressed. For starters, they have cookies that they microwave, which is not exactly healthy for a dentist’s office. And the front desk person asked me a couple of times if I wanted warm cookies and reminding that me she had warm cookies after I already said, no thanks. The smell of the microwaved cookies was kind of annoying throughout the visit, including the rooms with the dental chairs. Dr Baratz looked at my teeth, and I asked him about sleep apnea because I had heard some dentists make a mouth piece that’s supposed to help with it, and he just kind of laughed at me. When he was looking at my teeth, he wore a white lab coat. Then, he left the room and came back to give me his estimate, wearing instead of the lab coat, a flawless, wrinkle-less, expensive-looking suit. I got a weird vibe from this dentist. His estimate seemed a little excessive, too.
