Comforter fell apart on first wash

Upon delivery-comforter was stitched with a loose basting stitch-fabric was flimsy-fabric designs fell off in first wash..This was very disappointing..Tried to contact Midnight Velvet on this..as of yet, that has not happened..I will not be buying anything from a Midnight Velvet in the future.
