Think you have good long-term disability insurance? You better think again....We have dealt with two since Ken's shoulder injury...and they are truly thieves and have no integrity....you would NOT believe what they put us through since November 1st, benefits were denied because Ken applied for Social Security....well...let me be fair...we did get a benefit amount of $100 per month...but to get that, they have an outrageous amount of paperwork..which we have already done...and then they want more paperwork!! Reliance Standard Insurance is probably one of the worst I have ever had to deal with....Horrible ...its NOT worth it....they have so many reasons they can and will deny you....save yourself the pain and long long hours of paperwork.... I have sent letters of complaint to 4 appropriate agencies. BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE WORDING IN THE CONTRACT!!! RELIANCE STANDARD ARE THIEVES AND LIARS!
