Wrong information resolved as missed flight

I was going to fly from Houston to Cancun. I called a day before and asked them about if I need additional documents and they said no my passport and my green card would be just fine. I went to airport and the representative that was checking me in was extremely rude. He told me that You are going to miss your flight without any explanations first. Then I told him that I have my passport and my green card and this is all I need they said when I talked to them on the phone yesterday. He didnt let me fly due to a form instead of helping me. I had all my supported documents and he refused to let me fly User's recommendation: Do not book with them!
