Worst Delivery!

.C. Richard & Son 150 Price Parkway Farmingdale, New York 11735 United States. Our most Awful Experience Ever! My wife and I recently recently experienced the WORST delivery ever......and we have heard nothing, not a peep from you. For over 30 years we have been loyal, long standing customers of PC Richard, yet now, we were appalled by the lack of professionalism and rudeness by your delivery people, in addition to be being ignored by anyone at all. Whenever I see my PC Richard items delivered, or serviced by a non PC Richard truck, we know we are in trouble. This goes back for some time until we had requested only PC Richard people, not your alternative people. We had a problem refrigerator, which we wasted months on with your “alternate” technicians, which were awful and uncaring, never seeming to care or deal with the issue. Finally PC Richard had told us that there were too many repairs on our refrigerator, and wanted us to exchange the refrigerator, it seemed simple, so we did, However, I do not know where you got these guys from, again there was no PC Richard truck, which concerned us and these people lived up to the worst of our concerns. They sat outside for 20 minutes, so we thought they were just parked there for someone else. Finally, they ventured out and came to our door. They took one look at our back door and said they were refusing to deliver our replacement refrigerator (the exact same size as our existing one) because they said it would not fit through {the exact same door), which the original came thru.... which was delivered by you...... PC Richard. They were going to leave,,,, which we argued about, until my Brother-in-Law had to come over and take off our back door for them, while they stood around and watched him work, telling us how busy they were. Let me be clear, PC Richards original delivery people, never made a demand like that or even mentioned there was any issue in the first place. Suddenly, now there was a dent in the back of our new refrigerator, probably caused by their downloading it from the truck, also, my wife saw one of them break one of the pieces from the shelf and try to disguise the error, and hide it, in his hand...... he wound up replacing it with a piece of our old one. They "discovered" the water line in behind the refrigerator was bent and needed to be fixed....... the only people who have ever moved our refrigerator were PC Richard technicans when repairing it. I am not saying these installers did the damage, but they offered to fix it for $100. A hundred dollars for our warrantied refrigerator only touched by PC Richard’s......... were they kidding or just rip off artists? Again, my brother-in-law, came to the rescue and brought the needed piece from a hardware store and fixed it for $2, the price of the piece. Why would I pay anyone from PC Richard to try and charge me to fix it, at that price. These gentlemen, you had sent to deliver my replacement refrigerator, would fail any test on dealing with senior citizens or anyone for that matter with their lack of “people skills”. The delivery people were not alone it this. I called the Bellmore store and spoke to a manager, he assured me the job would be all be done and he would call back to make sure it was and that I was satisfied. Now remember, my brother-in-law took off the back door or they would have just left and he fixed the bent water line, not PC Richard. I was going to tell this to the Bellmore manager when he called back.... but guess what? HE NEVER DID!!!! And now, its worse.... the brand new refrigerator these " bozos" installed is leaking water and freezing the bottom ice maker. What a joke! At least a “PC Richard” service man came and fixed that, however, beyond that....not one single word or apology from PC Richard in regard to my letter! They have not reached out to us at all as they have shown they could care less about senior citizens. It seems PC Richard does not give a dam for us. We hate to write a letter like this, but this is where you are at today and we will shop elsewhere rather than expose ourselves to this kind of service and abuse again. There is a vast difference between your outsourced workers and PC Richard’s employees and you apparently are fine with that. We are not.
