Will not unlock my phone that was not purchased through them

I purchased three unlocked iPhones and brought them to Staight Talk Wireless. I have been an excellent customer for years but I now want to change carriers to save money. They have turned off my service and refuse to unlock my phone so I cannot use my fully-paid phone with another carrier. My phones are being held hostage by this company and they have unfair practices. They should be fined by the FCC. They have lost class action suits. When will they learn to treat people fairly and with respect? Customer service reps are not in the US and do not solve problems.
