What is in this chicken breast?

1

I bought Perdue boneless, skinless breasts at Shoprite. I use a Deni meat tenderizer before adding some kind of dressing, wrapping it in foil and putting in my Power fry oven. Usually, the breasts come out moist, tender and yummy. On this occasion, I couldn't even get the Demi meat tenderizer to go through the breast and when I finally did I couldn't get it out. I had to bang it on the counter to release it. It is not a faulty tenderizer. When I cooked the breast and unwrapped it to cut it, it was just as tough. What exactly is in that meat? Are you injecting it with some kind of filler or glue like the beef business does? I have come across this kind of toughness with budget stores that I assume are selling old chicken. I never thought Perdue, with a national name, would pass off old product with their name on it. And by the way it is a nightmare trying to talk to a human being at Perdue. When I finally got an operator and she transferred me, I was hung up on. Pretty poor customer service....... I think using the term Pissed Customer is very tacky . I only checked the box to be able to submit and maybe someone will read it.
