Ok so where do I begin with this nightmare. I wanted to buy a car and for it to be a simple painless process but every step of the way it has not been. I first saw a car I wanted to purchase that was located at you Buena Vista park location. I put the car on hold and drove an hour and 45 minutes to be the second customer in the door. 6 1/2 hours later I was able to leave and drive home exhausted and a bit unhappy due to the pressure of the salesman trying to get me to purchase maxcare. I decided that the car wasn't really what I was looking for and decided to return it with 7 days. I returned the car to the Palm Desert store and thought that was the end, oh but it wasn't. I received a call the next day to tell me that they didn't get ALL the signatures needed and I would need to come back. I wasn't happy since I returned a car and all I had was my classic car that I really don't like to drive for purposes like this but I did and thought this would be the end but no it wasn't. I decided to buy another car and had it transfered and was told by the woman who took the call that she would be with me through the whole process, that was the last time I ever heard from her. The car finally arrived at Palm desert and I thought I was done but no. I got a call from the store telling me that they didnt get all the signatures needed and could I come back, I said NO and they sent the paperwork via fedex and I signed the documents. Think that's the end? NO the car I purchased stated making a very loud clicking noise and I called carmax again three hours and twenty minutes later I spoke with Sally and she asked me when I wanted to come in and I told her she could pick the time. She picked 10:00 a. m apologized and said that they would take care of this. I got a call from a gentleman at your Palm Desert store telling me that they could not meet the appointment that they scheduled and that I had an appointment at 9:00 a. m at the BMW dealership. I told the gentleman that was not possible and told him that I would call corporate. I called corporate and talked to Alexis and still no fix. REALLY blown away about how Carmax is doing business these days.
