Warranty is a joke

I bought a Generac iQ2000 and mail the warranty card to the company before I took it out of the box. I was excited to get it registered and get it running. I took it out of the box a and put fresh fuel and the oil that came from the Generac . I follow the start up instruction. I pulled the rope to many times to count and the unit would not start. I smell gas and there was gasoline all over my garage floor after further inspection there was gasoline pouring out the air line. I took it to an authorized service center and they said it needed a new carburetor.( a NEW generator needed a New carburetor). WTF? I got a hold of Generac and they refused to warranty it even though it was registered with them. Seems the service center wanted the receipt. I miss place it so the would not fix it under warranty.They charged me $184.81 to replace a new carburetor with another new carburetor I bought a Generac because of the reputation and I on stock in the company. Never again will I buy another of there products. User's recommendation: Warranty is WORTHLESS !! Buyer Beware !!
