Waiting forever to get a broken part for a fairly new dishwasher

Disgusted by the poor customer support at Miele. Our dishwasher broke down several weeks ago. It took a while to get a Miele-authorized repairman to look at it, and then he said he needed to order a part for us. Two weeks later, he still doesn't have the part. Miele said there was a power failure at their warehouse, but power came back on a week ago. The dishwasher shouldn't have broken down in the first place since we are a household of two and until the Covid pandemic, we were living here only part-time. User's recommendation: Stay away from Miele products! It cost us a lot of fix our fairly new clothes dryer, too.
