Pulled in to Rally's drive-thru Sat night/Sun morning at 1:21 a.m. for 2 strawberry swirl ice cream cones. There were 4 cars in line on the right side and only 1 on the left, so business was slow compared to every other Sat night. We pulled into the left lane and directly up to the speaker where we sat for several minutes without being greeted. Finally, a young man spoke to us, telling us he would be with us in just a moment. For the next 30 minutes we sat at the speaker and watched car after car on the right pull up, place an order, grab their food and be on their way. When the 15 minute mark came and we still had not ordered, we decided to forget ice cream and just go home. Unfortunately, we were now blocked in with a car in front and 3 cars behind. At 1:45 the young man finally came back to the speaker and tried to take our order; however, he kept cutting us off during to ask if that was all and ended up missing half of the order (sad considering we only ordered a cone, a cup, and a water!). We pulled to the window and he immediately passed us 1 ice cream. I began to tell him that we ordered another when he held up a finger telling me to hang on, and began taking another person's order. We waited several more minutes before he came back and fixed our order. When I asked for my receipt (which was not given to me but put into the trash), rather than reprinting, he again held up a finger and then in plain sight began to rifle through the trash looking for my receipt. He eventually did manage to extract it from the garbage and this copy was the one he placed in my hand. He wished us a good night and before pulling away, we could see him making french fry bags, IN THE SAME GLOVES! I was disgusted and so was my husband (those same gloves had just touched our food!). On our way out of the parking lot (it is now 1:56 a.m.), we stopped and threw our ice cream away, making the entire 36 minute ordeal a complete waste of time. If possible, we would like to receive a refund for our purchases this evening. Thank you, Melissa & John Campbell
