I am writing to your kind self to raise my complaint HTC Egypt's against your customer service department, booth on the moral, ethical and technical sides. I have submitted by HTC Desire 600 phone to their customer service center office – previously located in Nasr City – on the 7th of February with the following WKN number 4028325, my complain was about a malfunction with the speaker while noting that my mobile was still in its manufacture warranty. There was a scratch on screen which you employee has written in the receipt and I have clearly mentioned to here that I don’t want to change the screen. I have received a call – almost 3 weeks after submitting the phone – from their service center informing me that they would like to get my approval to change the screen which will cost me around 1200 LE, I told her that o don’t want to change the screen as I only want to repair the speaker only. She has informed me that they will proceed upon my request. Again with no follow up from your team, I have called their service center inquiring about my phone, they have informed me that the phone has been repaired and ready to picked up from your new store. I have went to the store on Saturday thee 7th of March to pick the phone up and simply it was not repaired. Their staff has claimed that I have refused to have the phone repaired!!! I told them that I didn’t say that, he then changed his words by telling me that the phone can't be repaired??? When I inquired why he told me that I should accept changing the screen first, pay the 1200 LE and then they will repair the speaker. I told him that you are twisting my arm – literally – and that I don’t accept that. He told me that I can take the phone right away and make an official complain at the customer protection agency, but he wants to take the official invoice from me, I told him that I need an original copy from the invoice to process my complain and he told me that he can't do that. I was very intimidating and offended and have decided to follow your complaints mechanism before starting to move in other direction and have made a phone call with one of your customer service representatives – Rana Mamdouh – at 11.46 am on the same day 7th of March with the above compliant. I have been promised that you will get back to me within 2 working days. Since then I have received nothing from your end, which is something I don’t accept as it first violate my rights from your company and also your grantee document. I am hereby raising my case with you expecting to hear back from your side the soonest to act accordingly. With respect, Amr
