Upset about the service solution

I purchased 2 Thule UpRide 599000 bike racks for my new bikes. I tried to order from Thule directly, but they are back ordered until Aug 10 in the USA. So I searched around and found them on Amazon. I received them last Friday. The boxes arrived a bit beaten up. One of the racks came with no parts to install. The other came with a complete set of parts. So I called Thule Customer service and told them my situation. Their solution was to send it back to Amazon. I identified the parts I needed and was told I was requesting too many parts....well I have zero parts! Was told its Amazon's fault as Thule ships complete. Come on...where's the service? Pennywise and customer service foolish. Just sucks... User's recommendation: Questionable...don't order online...that's for sure.
