I have never been so humiliated and belittled by a person In a superior position in a store in my life it's the most unprofessional way to handle a customer ever!! I went to Checkers @ Kolonnade shopping center 4:40 to buy wine today and was standing in the queue to get serviced and even while standing in the queue i was bringing it to their attention that it's about to be 5 to get assisted and as i was standing in the queue the power trip and came back on it took awhile before they could get the system up and running again and only having 2 staff members assisting in a queue were over 5 cashier's can assist I patiently awaiting my turn I got to the till @ 5 the lady then told me she cant Assistant me as its already 5 I tried explaining to the lady that I got in the queue before 5 and was busy trying to wave them down to assist me before time approaches she called the manager on stand by to come assist this was now 17:2 The manager without consideration of what just happened told me to stop wasting his time and other costumers time as they will not assist me wat made it all worse was when he dragged it to say "if I was buying children's nappies he would maybe assist me but since I'm buying wine I should stop wasting his time" and while I was still standing there he then called the next costumer My question is what does that statement he made applies that I am irresponsible to the extend that I would buy alcohol over children nappies? How could one is such a position have such implications? I personally feel that no matter who u are and what position you may find yourself it's never the root to ever take to belittle a client or costumer and even make a mockery of a costumer that enters your store Checkers is a very well established company to be dragged trough the mud by people misusing their position on to potential costumers.. I can only hope that what I'm voicing out will put into perspective and dealt with in order Trust to hear from the costumer service department soon Regard
