Turned away for paying with cash

I'm not sure if this counts as a complaint, however, I have bought thousands of dollars of merchandise and systems from gamestop. Today, my teenager daughter went into the store, and she was turned away for paying with cash. This hasn't ever happened, in which resulted in no sale. We stood outside and waited since the store was at capacity, but they the person didn't say they were not accepting cash when we went outside. So we waited almost 10 minutes to get inside to be told they couldn't accept cash. Is this right? My email is [protected]@gmail.com
