I purchased the $1.00 car history report and my account was hit with the $18.95 recurring charge. When I contacted the company they promised that they would credit my card back the money. Three days later the company returned our money to the account, but Netflix had a new account made here in the US using the card number. We had to have that card turned off and replaced. I went online and found a few review sites that other people were having the same issues I had. Some were worse, as they had fraudulent charges in the thousands. Bottom line, don't do it.
